TASS Garden Square set up in downtown Moscow

MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. A previously unnamed area in front of the TASS news agency’s main office in downtown Moscow has been named the TASS Garden Square, according to an order signed by the city’s Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
The decision was made to commemorate the news agency’s 120th anniversary. The TASS Garden Square will soon appear on Moscow maps.
The area in front of the TASS headquarters has always been a popular recreation place; over the past ten years, it has also become an exhibition space where the works of TASS photo correspondents are regularly put on display. As this year marks the agency’s 120th anniversary, advanced multimedia screens were installed here, which offer TASS videos, photos and infographics, as well as information about Russia’s achievements, cultural heritage and natural resources.
